You go for labwork there, they bill you over $800 and then you find out that was just for the 5 minutes that it took them to draw the blood. You call the number they give and some AI (literally AI, not just me being snarky about a person answering) answers trying to get me Medicaid info that I didn't ask for. Then you get over a $200 bill from some other company who actually did the work. This was after a snafu with insurance that Carle's system did not catch which it should have. I wouldn't have even gotten the bloodwork done if they'd caught the issue. Had just recently switched to Carle, but will switch to OSF or some other company now instead. Carle is part of the health care affordability problem this country has. I hate it so much. You might see them to reply telling me to call a number (I already called the number on the bill - that was what got me an AI masquerading as a human being i.e. it didn't even identify that it was AI) but the real solution here is that they need to charge affordable rates in the first place. There is nothing that they need to hear on the phone that they don't already know. I mean I'm sure the employee they have writing those replies here might n

Dr. Mini Hariharan was my pcp for a single visit before I immediately switched her. Not only was she so beyond rude the entire appointment, she refused to listen to the symptoms I was warning her about and tried to focus on a completely different medical topic that was completely irrelevant and turned out to not be a legitimate issue. I was in immense pain and discomfort and attempting to tell her about it. I was brushed off the entire appointment and it was I had to fight tooth and nail to at the very least get a few days off of work when she denied my medical leave because she was more worried about her license, her words, not mine. Not only did I state explicitly what my problems were to her, but I have gone to Carle for almost every medical issue I’ve had for the past year, therefore I have medical records to back up the issues I have been struggling with. As someone who simply needed care and support from a medical provider, I was so disgustingly let down by a sad excuse for a doctor. The one person who should put their patients wellness and health above all. There is no telling what path my health would have gone down had I not switched pcps. If you are looking for a pcp, I h

Typical healthcare industrial complex, prioritizing profits over patient care. Demanded appointment for medication side effect paperwork. Due to Dr. S.R.'s practice of outpatient billing, each visit costs roughly $200 for a simple consultation. Despite all of this, Dr. S.R. is competent in diagnosis and medication. Carle, do better. *Update I won't be contacting you further and wasting my valuable time seeing as her office declined to even recommend another doctor's office.

I didn’t catch her name but the nice gal who took my blood this morning was wonderful. She was so sweet and I didn’t even feel the stick when she drew my blood. Clearly she is very skilled at what she does and this has been the best/easiest experience ever getting blood drawn so far. Thank you!
